Mt Wash West side

Managed to initiate some small ski cut size 1 slab avalanches down 30-40 cm on a facet /melt freeze crust interface. Faceting has taken place within the upper 50cm of the snowpack. Also had a sudden Planar moderate result during an extended column test on the same facet/melt freeze crust At lower elevations , the temperature rose above zero degrees and the facet/melt freeze interface became easier to initiate
