Haines Pass

Calm wind and cold clear night has lead to widespread surface hoar which was observed on all aspects. We road all aspects and found crusty, hard conditions on south facing aspects, 0-5 cm ski pen. Ski pen up to 15 cm on north aspects Dug a pit on east northeast aspect, ~25 degree slope, to 1.5 meter depth: 10-15 cm powder ontop of consolidated storm snow (test was non-reactive) . Hard rain crust layer at ~40cm (test was stubborn). Third layer identified at ~70cm (test was stubborn).
