Overcast throughout the day and not windy. It started to snow around 11am and vis became poor. At ~2300m the snow started to get thin/wind affected on the south east side of the ridge. At 2200m I got 1m in with my pole off the skin track. The skiing was great, ankle deep pow in open trees. No sign of old tracks from last week and we didn’t see any signs of instability. Skiing in the trees below hospital bowl was thin/hard under 10 cms of snow but manageable. The ski out wasn’t tooooo bad, but still opportunities to clip some rocks.
