Quick Observation

After 3 days (Jan17-Jan19) of excellent riding in deep, light snow at treeline and below treeline (approx 1600m to 2000m) on Jan 19th we had heavy warm snow in the afternoon (approx 0C at 2000m), followed by rain overnight and into the morning of Jan 20th at 1550m elevation. Skiing back down to the logging road at 1100m had conditions of wet, heavy slush in any open areas/cutblocks (which skiied okay), and treed areas were icy/crusty with tree bombs (which skiied terribly).
