We collected a quick profile at 2240 m in the upper glades south of the main slide path (see attached image for details). In general the HS was 145 cm with generally right side up profile. We observed significant wind transport as we approached 2400 m. We observed cracking and isolated wind slabs at this elevation which convinced us not to ascend higher for our outing. We also observed deteriorating stability as the upper few cm of recent storm/wind deposited snow became more sensitive (increased cracking and more small slabs) with each lap at our high point. A fine, stormy ski day. A good day for skiing more moderate terrain with trees.
