Ross Peak path from Mt Green

Wen up from Loop Brook through Ross col and skied down Ross Peak path.
Noticed signs of small sluffing from the past warm days off the sun exposed face of Mount Green. Signs of a wet avalanche from the top of the col, as well as a large crown just below the cornice on climber's left side of the col. We crossed this area early with low temperature and didn't notice signs of instability.
The crux of the bootpack through the rocks to reach the top of Ross Col was heavily faceted and we struggled to get good holds for a few moves. It was good bootpacking snow for the most part after that. From the summit of Green, we followed the recommended ski route from Doug Sproul. Going right from the summit to avoid the big cornice was a bit sketchy with the wind compacted snow on the ridge and cliff exposure on the right. The cliff band right below the cornices was not well filled in and quite rocky. We stayed right to find the most practicable path. One of us three sent it over the rocks and had a good landing, the other 2 preferred to bootpack down before jumping into the soft snow below. We skied left into the open alpine bowl. Skiing was very good, except for small spots of bare ice on the glacier. Snow at the top of the run was slightly compacted powder, varying with pockets of deeper soft snow. No signs of instability or recent avalanche activity. Around 1500m, the snow got much softer with lots of surface hoar and excellent skiing all the way down. We stayed skier's left towards the bottom and had no issue navigating to the bottom and avoiding the gullies.
There was no skin track at the bottom and we crossed the frozen creek by mistake and had to cross back to avoid going over the CP tracks and join the DAR at the bottom of Cougar Cr run off of Ross.
