Chester Lake

<p>Skinned up to Chester Lake today and did a short run at the back of the lake. Snowpack on the slope was variable from 50-150cm with ~10-15cm of new snow on top of the existing base. All in all, pretty good supportive skiing. We witnessed a few loose dry avalanches to size 1.5 from Mount Chester which were a little too close for comfort so we decided to head down. It snowed on us from 1000-1500 but didn't accumulate more than a cm or so. </p>
