Moist snow and sun

Slight temperature inversion in connaught valley. Once above the fog at tree line around 930am the sun was packing a punch. Previous and new wide spread loose dry/moist slides to size 1 off solar aspects/rocks. Moist snow ~10/20cm down, tree bombs and glopping skins! Hs87cm @ 2050m. Some snow transport/ pluming off the high peaks observed from the moderate trending strong S SW winds. A thin sun crust had formed as the cloud cover increased. Polar aspects were the place to be. No slab avalanche activity observed. Heavy skiing in flat light, still better than work.
