Quick Observation

Skied Dream Chute and west bowl, as well a dug a pit. Skiing quality was mediocre. Lots of interesting observations and data gathered.

Avalanche Information

We observed many many many LW, all from point release. A great majority of them were coming from under cliff bands and were probably triggered by warming of the rock formations. All debris were covered by the snow from last night. None of these avalanches triggered any of the PS down in the snowpack. ***We also observed a small Sz1 S avalanche on W aspect of Mt. Hapush, in the west bowl. Tk-TP Sa MTWxLxD (m): 15-15-0.3

Snowpack

Interesting data gathered today. Despite our test result we felt confident skiing what we did considering the LW avy we observed didn’t seemed to have to affected any of the PS lower in the snow pack. See graph attached for full results and interpretation of our pit and profil.
