Sub Observations Trees South Aspect

Rode the trees on the south aspect below Obs Sub Peak for a quick half day out. Boot top powder with fresh tracks and great tree skiing. Dug a pit at 2450m on a ~30 degree slope in the open trees. CTM17 with SC at 53cms. No propagation on ECT. Both December layers appear to be faceted. Windy towards the south ridge where we stopped, no wind down at TL. Ridge top was pretty barren and hard. Other than that temps stayed around -5 with scattered clouds.
