AST2 students report: Evidence of previous cornice fall, did not trigger slope. Winds moving snow off ride tops resulting in loose dry sluffs. Compression and extended column tests showed results down 35cm under the previous wind slab on a prominent facet layer. These results did not propagate. 27cm of storm snow. 180cm deep snowpack at 2180m. snowing most of the day, 2-3cm/h around 1pm. No signs of instability while breaking trail and ski cutting to 35 degrees.
