Access to stuff off the road is getting tricky especially at lower elevations but up high above 2200m the skiing was great. There was 5-10cm of cold dry snow above a hard crusty layer which made for pretty good skiing especially in sheltered areas. We where up early not for temperatures but because we knew the storm was coming in in the afternoon. We bailed 100-200m below the summit because the storm was moving in. If we had bailed 5 minutes earlier we would have skied down in good vis but instead it socked in and we where in a complete whiteout. Near the top we where starting to find some slabby sections but nothing with propagation potential and only the top 2-5cm. With the new snow and a bit of wind there will be some windslabs lurking up high now. For us however we had a bit of sluff to deal with and the whiteout made that a bit tricky but that’s it. Enjoy the skiing out there it’s still great!
