- <p>No red flags where I visited, although I did observe a wind slab on the south end of Double Hill from a possible cornice that broke and triggered the avalanche. Also, some minor sluffing of the weak surface snow off the ridgeline.</p>
A little bit of recent avalanche activity on the south end of Double Hill which gets loaded from winds both from the northwest and southwest. The small slab avalanche looks like a piece of cornice broke and triggered the somewhat shallow pocket.
Beautiful day in the Uintas with some light southwest winds and great snow. Looking southeast with the shady side of Moffit Peak to the right.

- <p>I did not observe any recent avalanche activity that involved the buried weak layers. I was finding around 150cm/@60" of snow in this area and it is still easy to locate the weak sugary snow in a pit. It was not reactive where I dug, but I was still cautiously choosing my terrain with the buried persistent weak layer in mind. </p>
The surface snow is loose and faceted, but I was finding great snow conditions with good supportable riding and the light southwest winds kept the snow from getting too damp and sticky.
