Instability of this layer has increased due to heavy snowfall from recent storm especially on wind loaded terrain. </p> <p>avoid upper elevation terrain on the NW to SE </p> <p>Wind slabs are showing up along the NE side of the ridges. The new snow fall and wind allows snow to be blown around easily creating large wind slabs. </p>
