Spotty skier reactivity

Pretty great skiing in untouched dog leg paths, no reactivity noted. Some wind slab starting to form at the top. Headed to the road facing trees for the out and had good skiing but also noted a significant band of reactivity around 2000 m, easy to ski cut and had shooting cracks. Picked our way down and reactivity disappeared lower down. Would be spooky in a longer run like the road facing chute
