Had a great quick little lap up to approx. 1860m on NRC. Plenty of thick powder out there, and saw 2 or 3 other parties out there as well. Rode moderate to low angled terrain, saw moderate sloughing, and one mini storm slab approx 10 cm deep on/over a convexity (photo).
Snow conditions were: Powder. Weather conditions were: Warm. We rode: Mellow slopes, Convex slopes, Open trees. We avoided: Steep slopes. Riding quality was amazing.
Snowpack
CT Easy 3 Progressive compression down 10cm. CT Hard 28, resistant planar, down 60cm. Broke a small bit of trail betweem 1830 - 1860m elevation, deep powder snow with ski penetration ranging an estimated 25-45cm.
Weather
Steady snowfall in the morning (8-9am) tapering to light flakes by noon.
