Couloir North Fraser Lake

Hiked up couloir north of Fraser Lake. 5-25cm fresh snow on solid crust. Avalanche debris from wind lip and slope below having released from lower west side- unknown age. Wind lips present mostly on west side further up couloir. Good riding and no signs of instability throughout the run. West part of couloir wind-stripped. East part has accumulations up to 25cm of soft powder. Some variation of layering structure in upper pack throughout the run, but no signs of unstable layers or slab at the time of observation. Temperatures stayed below zero all day.
