Quick Observation

Great skiing on Lookout Col down to the Ravens today. Early start and down to the car before noon. Hot slogging down in the valley with trail breaking in heavy snow. No evidence of Na or visible forms of instability. Top layer is sintering quick with the warm temps. Weather was around -5 with cloudy skies in the morning and turning into OVC-OBS as we transitioned on the way down. Looks like about 10cms of new snow overnight observed from the skin track. Route up the ille is interesting with a low snowpack. You will feel the burn. Skied with the min reporter of Rogers Pass, the pirate or Rogers Pass, and Peter Pan.
