Sunny skies throughout the day. Moderate NE winds kept cool conditions along ridges and open areas.
Snowpack
I went to Chickadee Ridge and Ophir Peak to look at snow conditions. Snow surfaces on Northerly aspects range from firm wind scoured, refrozen tracks, and areas of soft near surface facets. The areas of soft snow are becoming harder to find with the many previous refrozen hard tracks present. The moderate NE winds kept cool conditions along ridges with limited softening observed on solar aspects by midday.
