Bad skiing at Burnt Knob

Horrendous mostly breakable crust from the x-c parking lot up to 1250m where we cut our losses, turned around and tried not to lacerate our shins on the *ski* down. Surface hoar up to 10mm on the crust. Our experience prompted us to start a sh** crust classification scale: meringue-> zipper crust-> creme brule -> rental drywall. We had the latter :( Thankfully, good company and humour saved the day!
