Quick report
The winds were blowing snow on the valley floor, and I could see plumes kicking up from the trees. I dug a pit at mid-elevation and found a right-side-up snowpack with moist basal facets in the basement. I found a layer of graupel at the 1/1? interface down 45cm with ECTN20 results. There were a few mid-storm layers in the upper 40cm with no significant results. A good-looking snowpack in this elevation band!
