Quick report

Continuous snow at 4000ft. Snow corned up all the way to summit, skied very well. Cloud cover appeared to hold snowpack in stasis, where not enough sun to make wet problems increase throughout day but snowpack not cooling due to cloud cover. Rocks continuing to show evidence of shedding snow.

Avalanche

Triggered slow moving small wet loose (D1 or less) on west side of Pilchuck, around 12:15pm. Indicative of snow pack generally, with roller balls released on descent and boot penetration increasing as climbing higher up the mountain.
