Snowpack
Since Saturday, there have been 6-8 inches of new snow sitting on a melt-freeze crust. The new snow has not bonded to the crust but is no longer sensitive and behaving like a storm slab.
Below the crust is a stout 1-finger hard slab, .5-1 meter thick. There are still lingering facets in the bottom third of the snowpack.
On south aspects, we found the snow near the ground still wet with dry snow above it.
