Periods of graupel and snow coming down on the surface…we were able to get some minor sloughing on a steep West Aspect that we skied, travel was very good as well as the ski quality of the snow .We saw one natural wind slab avalanche on a South East Aspect just below the ridge top of Cly point. It was 25-40cm deep, about 150 yards wide and ran 400 vertical feet plus/out of view . We observed evidence of wind, slab and persistent slab with impressive, shooting, cracks and collapses as we traveled. 100 foot crack on a steep east roll over that was pretty deep around 2 feet

Strong southwest winds, we’re moving snow into North and East aspects below Ridgetop throughout the day as it snowed visibility was limited, and had intermittent periods of faint filtered light from the sun
Snowpack
We had between 9.5-10 feet of snow in our test, pits at at 7582’&7732’. While hiking at ridge top-just below 7800’ East aspect,we had collapses, as well as shooting, cracks from our skis and easy failures on cornices that have grown with a ski kick .Multiple clean, planer results in compression and extended column tests with Propagation as well as a Propagation saw test indicated potential for Propigation above our late January rain crust.
