Quick Observation

Great day out at NRC, looked like 30+cm in the HN24 breaking trail was fun and is good to see lots of light fluffy snow out there. Alders and rocks are getting covered but still a little boney in small sections. light snow (S-1) at the start of the day going into flurries with the sunny popping in and out, small signs of snow transportation in the early pm. Beautiful day to be out. HST around 50cm of F snow with the Nov 17th surface hoar down 73cm with a MFcr just 2cm above. Our group saw signs of instability with a couple sz 1 Sa on a steeper/unsupported slope where the HST was releasing in Dry loose and gaining mass but came to a stop on the flatter slope. In all great riding! NRC was deep and mellow good to see things filling in.

Avalanche Information

unsure what it slid on, I think it was just storm snow releasing on steep and unsupported features like pillow and small rolls. everyone was fine just out running the snow in the small steep feature.

Weather

Moderate gust through out the day and a bit of snow transportation.
