Crazy good powder on Fraser chutes

The clouds were sitting thick in the valleys and we thought we were just going to dig a pit and leave. However once we went up the skin track onto the fraser chutes we were above the clouds and it was blue bird and no wind. We went all the way to the ridge top for two laps. There was about a foot or more of light powder that I would guess has accumulated over the week with little wind effect. The snow pack was strong and we had no red flag signs all day, though with the strong sun it was changing. Great day out in the snow in the alpine, meadows, and trees.
