Round mountain

Spent the morning around Round mountain. Visibility was in and out all day. Storm snow from the last 48hrs about 50cm. Dug a test profile @1710m on a NNW aspect. Slope was around 33 degrees. Skies were obscured and it was snowing S-2. Nov 23 FC/CR, and Dec 16 V are still quite reactive. We had a CTE 7 down 28 RP x 2 , and a few CTH down 90-132 SP. Lower snowpack failures looked like they were failing on depth hoar, as well as facets, above and below the crusts.
