Cheam Peak valley

Toured up the Cheam access trail. Road is as awful as usual with a couple of new washouts. Snow line 850m so skinned in from there with a bit of rain. Lots of skis-off creek crossings. The added distance thwarted any meaningful ascent. Saw many wet slab debris fields on west aspects of alpine slopes. Picture is of a 2.5. Snow was 4 to 6 inches of wet on bullet proof crust, so avoided steep features. Temp -1 to + 1.
