Quick Observation
Snowpack
Lots of wind affect in the alpine. 10-15cm is redistributed into lower angle sheltered terrain with surface hoar on top. This overlies a hard crust with some surface hoar preserved above the crust. Solar slopes becoming moist in the PM. Below the February weak layer can be found below 90cm of well settled coastal snow and is made up of rounding surface hoar (4mm) and rounding facets (1mm) producing hard compression test results (SP). January weak layer further down 120cm deep is a breaking down and is a pencil hard crust with rounding facets (1-2mm) above and below, no tests done on it.
