Guinness-Stout

Calm & overcast day in Field. Temps were -9 in the morning, warming to -3 in the afternoon. I have never seen Guinness so picked out on every pitch, luckily we were gunning for Stout, which has seen far less traffic. There is a reasonable trail up to Stout, taking us 30 mins to get to the base. We climbed Stout in 2 pitches. The first pitch was about 60m to a 2 screw anchor at the base of the last pitch. We climbed a dry line approx center of the curtain. This line was not picked out & went at +4. There's a tree anchor a few meters back from the top out, providing a comfortable belay stance. This last pitch was quality climbing.
Although we didn't venture off the trail to Stout, there appears to be 40cm-60cm of snow in the gully, with the top 20cm being low density & no sign of surface slab.
