Crust to pow

Some loose avalanches were observed today in steep terrain on solar aspects. Riding quality went from riding crust at lower elevations to deep powder up top. We stayed away from ridge crests due to the active snow being transported and loading slopes. The best snow was found at tree line in sheltered areas.
