Nothing Surprising Around the Gorge

Pretty solid riding today around the Gorge! We didn’t really see any signs of instability, although we did battle heavy sluffing in steeper terrain features.
At 1,800m HS was 135cm, and PS was 12cm. Air temp was -7.5, and a quick pit in the top 50cm of snowpack was all right side up for density and temperature. Last week’s wet dump was down 10-20cm’s and had become pretty dense.
There were still a lot of early season hazards like down logs and open creeks below 1,800m.
