Wawa Ridge

We went up Wawa Ridge in a white-out, sticking to the ridge which had little snow on it due to wind. At the top, the sun came out and we skied down a 30 degree slope that had 10 cm of new snow on it. There was a hard wind crust beneath and it felt solid. Our ECT test showed a little fracturing 40cm down, but no propagation (taken on a wind loaded 25 degree slope (SE Aspect).

10 cm accum. on surface. 80cm facets below slabs. ECT failure at 20 at 40cm depth, no prop.
