Mount Washington Backcountry

Easy ECT results in upper 10-20cm of recent storm snow in last 48 hours. Hard sudden planar result (23) down 80cm to Jan 21 PWL. Slope was 30 degrees at our pit. Saw a few natural slab releases on steep N faces, which we opted out of skiing today. Trees skied well, with 10cm of light snow. After 10am, saw warming close to zero degrees and sunny weather, with a fair amount of tree bombing on our skin back to the car.
