Quick Observation
We skied conservative low angle sheltered TL features to 25 degrees and an alpine slope of 30 degrees that had previously avalanched. All between 900 and 1300m. 2 Large settlements on low angle terrain at around 1100m.
Snowpack
Test profile at 1000m, 15 degres, North, on exposed TL rib. HS 130cm Overall highly faceted snowpack. CTE 6 (SC), ETCN 4 down 20cm on Facets (2-3mm) below Crust. CTH28 (SC), ECTN 26 down 65cm on Facets/Depth Hoar 3-4mm Lack of cohesion and slab properties within the upper snowpack seems to limit propagation propensity of PWL in shallow/scoured areas.
