It feels like spring! The upper half of the skin track up the nose had a very clear weak layer that was obvious and separated easily in hand pits. In addition to the fresher crown line in the photos, there was an older fracture on lookers right of the ski run, on a rollover. We stayed conservative in our ski choices, avoiding roll overs and choosing the lowest angle line. The bottom of the run, more in a meadow, had the super solid crust base of last weekend, but without the additional weak layer, which was really interesting. Not sure if this difference is about sun exposure, or wind disrupting hoarfrost, etc. between the most recent two snow storms. The snow quality for our little laps was great!
