Well November decided to deliver this year. Maybe it felt bad after last year who knows. We ran two laps of the bowl, sticking to the lower angle terrain to skiers right of the main cliff band. Ran a few hand shear tests that produced varying results from shearing roughly on a ~2' deep layer to sloughing on the surface without a clean break on the lower layer. After taking a long ski cut, we felt that this portion of the bowl was safe enough to ski. And ski she did my friends. Whoopee. On our ski track up we can across the small cornice fall described in the avalanche section. Cornice development was only observed on that small section of ridgeline, and offered a slightly different version of the story we were seeing in the other section of the bowl.

We initially observed a small cornice fall that seemed to have been naturally produced (picture attached). We were further able to set off a few larger cornice triggered wind slabs that ran somewhere between 10'-20' and were roughly 3-4" deep.
