This large natural avalanche occurred Tuesday night into Wednesday with the storm. In three separate places where it was particularly steep, rocky, and unsupported, it stepped into much older snow layering. The avalanche is from the Lake Shot north along the No Name Baldy (RedBird) ridgeline. It likely was 3-8' deep and 2000' wide. The avalanche was possibly triggered by natural (wind driven) cornice fall.
