Descended No Name Bowl at around 9:45 with the first couple of turns initiating sloughing that quickly entrained enough of the top layer of new snow to become a wet-loose avalanche. Fortunately it was slow moving and narrow permitting me to stay in front of the avalanche for several hundred feet before feeling a push at my tail giving me a chance to head out of the path despite my partner’s yelling much early that I did not hear. Other similar aspects along the PC ridge-line (Scott Hill, South Monitor) also revealed skier and natural wet-loose activity.
