Skiing west bowl today noticed that Silver fork head wall slid. The crown appears to be down off the ridge and 2-3' deep and roughly 1-200 ft wide. Guessing the slide occurred Friday or Saturday, within the new storm snow layer. Possible additional loading from the southwest winds could have been a contributing factor.
Forecaster Comments: possibly a natural cornice fall triggered this soft slab
