Quick report

Clear conditions and light winds made for an excellent trip to the 2017 slide at Jefferson Brook's south fork, where I found easy travel and low reactivity. There were a few small areas of wind-drifted snow near the sides of the gully (NW aspect) and small pockets of deep, unconsolidated snow in the slide track. Pit tests did not result in any propagation and I took the following snow measurements: HS 116cm @ 3750 ft. HS 101cm @ 3960 ft.
