Nyack

Went for a lovely ridge walk in the middle fork up to a high point near Nyack. Those views never get old. We purposely kicked some cornices on north facing aspects with sloughing that ran fast on steep slopes. No propagation. We noticed some isolated collapsing under our skis at higher elevations on SE facing aspect. In the afternoon there were noticeable signs of warm up with small roller balls and point releases on solar aspects . North and west facing aspects stayed surprisingly dry and cool due to wind. Lots of glide cracks visible on our tour.
