Quick report
We saw lots of wet loose avalanches all along the west-facing ridgeline of the basin. We headed out around 8:30. By the time we got back at 1:30, it had warmed up a lot, and the surface of the snow was starting to soften in some areas, but there was still a widespread crust. We only found a couple of isolated patches in the trees on the east-facing slopes of the basin that didn't seem to have developed this crust and still had some dry snow on the surface.
