Wide spread collapsing, primarily on North-east and south east slope. 40-50cm new snow. Calm winds and temps around 25F. No wind slabs present. From previous observations submitted over the past two days and avy forecast we knew snowpack was reactive and talkative. We stayed disciplined despite the awesome snow quality and kept to slopes 30* or less. What we observed today was in line with what we expected to see based on forecast and observations. Seems snowpack is super reactive even though this wasn’t a long distance remote trigger it was still spooky to hear all the collapsing under our feet in low angle terrain and to see a slide.

We spotted this skier triggered avalanche on a north/north east slow, that ran 50-100 yards and was about 200 yards wide. The crown appeared to be 2-3ft deep breaking on what we estimate to be the new/old snow interface. We skinned up and observed that the nearest ski track was less than 20 feet away. We never caught up to the skiers who triggered it but no one appeared to be caught. We observed isolated collapsing through out the day on nearly all aspects.
