- <p>I stayed below the highest ridges, below 9300'. No cracking observed today, although surface sluffs were moving readily, with one running 100 yards in 40 degree terrain. </p>
Below, a sluff that ran 100 yards in steep terrain, 8600', N facing. I chose to do some traversing cuts in some areas like this. Much of this area had tracks before this storm cycle.

- <p>The size of some of the running sluffs had me doing some cuts and the occasional traversing line, to make sure the snow movement was manageable. </p>
Very good conditions; a few stumps still poking their heads up occasionally.
