Quick report
Snow much of the day Sunday stopping b y 5 p.m. with just very light and short after dark, then clearing starting before midnight. The snowfall the past 36 hours has been 5½ inches with water content 0.42". Wind picked up in the afternoon gusting to 23 mph at the station but hit 40 mph at the Kettle Ponds site, about 2 miles south of Gothic in an open meadow. It is currently partly cloudy and calm with 12½" of snowpack, down from 15" yesterday. Snowpack SWE (nearest half inch) is 2½". Yesterday's high was 40F and low today was 12, currently 13. And so we go.
