Headed up to Raymond for some turns! Dug a pit after the pass on the ESE slope below the ridge. With the new moisture and warmth, the snowpack is settling, evident of the facets at 4f rather than fist. Our tests both pointed to the the recent storm slab as the issue, however there was no propagation.

Snowpack

Instability Comment

Facets at the bottom of the snowpack. They are consolidating, with that layer at 4f rather than fist and loose. Hard to say that conditions are good as causing a slide could be disastrous with the snow above that layer.
