Super Interesting avalanche. The slide did NOT gouge down to the buried surface hoar layer. It failed on a NSF/Surface hoar combo layer about 3" above the February 8 - 10th layers. Fascinating from a snow geek perspective.
NOTE: In the video I mis-label the Feb 8 - 10th Surface Hoar/NSF layer as a Jan. 28th layer.
