Quick report
- Collapsing
- isolated
Overall, we found super poor structure in the snowpack with moderate-high strength (seen in our tests/profile). Noticed collapsing close to the top of West Angle, just over 10,000 feet on SW slope. Only collapsing of the day.
Snowpack
In all of the 4 pits that were dug (all on aspects and elevations similar to the profile pictured) we found no propagation. We each found a large layer of depth hoar at the bottom of the snowpack (HS 99-110cm depending on the pit) and couldn't get an ECT to propagate on that layer, even with some CT (Q3) fractures on it.
