Snowpack
10-12"/25-30cm of new snow in the mid and upper elevations showed good bonding to underlying surfaces. On solar aspects, a crust, 1-2cm thick in places was present. Bonding between the new snow and this crust was surprisingly good, with activity limited to low volume sluffing on steep rollovers (>35 deg). Wind effect was limited to isolated pockets along exposed ridgelines in the upper elevations.
